We are always looking for new heroes, workers, and volunteers interested in training and learning how to serve in the emergency services field.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

With the fire department being a combination fire department, we are always looking for volunteers interested in becoming trained and educated in the emergency services field. The fire department will pay for that education and training, so all you have to do is let us know that you are interested.

We know that it is stressful reaching out to join an organization that you may not know much about, but please understand that we need you, and your assistance can truly help the community. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer with the Bath Volunteer Fire Department, please fill-in the information below and press submit, it’s that simple. We will reach out to you and help you achieve your goals of becoming a volunteer firefighter or medical responder with Bath Volunteer Fire Department.

Please have the following information on-hand to complete and submit the application:

Copy of your Driver’s License
Resume (if available)

If you have previous fire or emergency services experience, please provide the following information if available:

NC Office of State Fire Marshal Transcripts: Detailed Training Transcript, Summary Transcript, and Classes Remaining Transcript
These can be found and printed off the NCOSFM Website http://www.ncosfm.gov/osfm-24 • Copies of your ICS (NIMS) Certifications: 100.c,200.c,700.b,800.d, and others if you have them. If applicants are unable to submit these electronically, they must provide copies in person at their agility test appointment.
Copies of all your Fire or Emergency Service Related Certifications (All Certifications)
Copy of your EMT Certification
