The Bath Volunteer Fire Department’s (BathVFD) main goal is to provide the best fire protection service to the people who live and visit within the fire district whether within the town limits or in the county. The department will work closely with the community in providing fire education to the young and old, assisting with lowering insurance rates for the community and providing a smoke detector give-away program.

The Bath Volunteer Fire Department will provide a stable and trained membership of volunteer firefighters that are ready at all times to respond when needed. All firefighters are expected to participate in training and community projects related to our task. The department will strive to provide excellent public education programs for fire prevention and safety to schools, civic organizations and exhibit events.
